Job Summary

The Paid Media function exists at Vail Resorts to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of paid media across the enterprise. The Manager, Media position will be responsible for assisting in media strategy and implementing plans for various resorts and lines of business within the Vail Resorts portfolio, working with the media operations team and agency partners to execute.

A trusted Manager at Vail Resorts takes pride in driving quantifiable results for the enterprise, providing media recommendations and executing plans that truly affect consumer behavior. This position will focus on crafting first-party data-driven media strategies to drive brand awareness and product conversion. This individual must possess strong learning agility, with an interest in advertising technology and a desire to help the Vail Resorts media team achieve results in a world without third-party cookies. This person must have experience with various ad tech tools such as DSP, DCO and MTA platforms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Media Strategy & Stakeholder Management Meet regularly with business stakeholders to receive business goals and translate into media strategies, provide easily digestible executive summaries and ensure stakeholders are well informed
  • Plan Execution - Maintain and execute media plans across various lines of business based on need within the media team
  • Analytics/Optimization Regularly review campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations
  • Prioritize Agency Work - Work with media operations manager to ensure agency priorities align with centralized media team priorities
  • Present Provide documentation that supports why each media plan meets business goals and attain buy-in from media team and key stakeholders
  • Budget Maintenance Assist media operations team with budget pacing across various lines of business and media plans
  • Leadership Development Focus on growing her/his leadership skill set, while also helping a direct report to do the same

Job Requirements

Required:

  • 5
    years of paid media planning experience in various forms of media
  • 3
    years programmatic, DSP experience required
  • MS Office, strong EXCEL & PPT Skills
  • Strong verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure
  • Outgoing, confident self-starter
  • Experience leveraging first-party data-driven paid media campaigns

Preferred:

  • Bachelor s degree in related field
  • Portfolio management of paid media for a larger brand
  • Experience working within Adobe s suite of products (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Ad Cloud and Adobe Audience Manager)

The budgeted range starts at $57,000 - $81,150
annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
