POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is a leadership role with responsibility for profitably growing and managing a portfolio of products within a brand. This position has responsibility for developing, implementing and managing annual strategic, financial and operating plans including promotions, packaging, advertising, analysis and P&L. This role will require developing growth strategies, leading product innovation, building marketing capabilities, partnering on key sales initiatives, leveraging cross-functional and organizational resources, and managing financial and annual operating plans against business unit targets.
Lead development and execution of product innovation pipeline including close-in commercialization and further-out innovation
Lead and influence innovation to develop and execute short and long term core improvement and new products
Achieve revenue, profitability, market share and other objectives by:
Developing and executing annual and long-term strategic plans for assigned product group(s) consistent with corporate priorities
Actively managing product line profit and loss statements
Developing trade, retail, and category strategies to meet consumer and customer objectives
Leading and interfacing with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on Brand Plans and drive execution excellence
Managing all marketing activities including but not limited to advertising, promotions, research, packaging and pricing
Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners and agencies
Increasing brand value by utilizing basic Consumer Insight principles
Develop and consistently build Brand Equity as a means of attaining volume goals and long-term profit growth
Evaluate performance, identify competitive threats, and determine product strengths, weaknesses and opportunities by conducting market analyses
Execute marketing strategy, plans, and tactics
Build consumer awareness, generate trial, increase distribution and drive sales by developing effective consumer promotions and communications plans. Quantify and evaluate effectiveness by directing post-program analysis
Coach, manage and set expectations for direct reports
Jobs Supervised: Associate Brand Managers
Education and Experience:
BA/BS in Marketing or other related field. MBA required
5-7 years progressive experience in Consumer Products Company required (with preference given to top CPG food companies)
Direct experience in leading development and execution of product innovation pipeline including close-in commercialization and further-out innovation preferred
Strong demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing people required
P&L and data analytical experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to grow businesses through sales and marketing initiatives
Expertise in setting business goals and tracking business performance
Ability to adapt behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles
Strong leadership skills in building a team, navigating an organization, and managing a business
Proven ability to drive change, deliver results and solve problems
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
