The Role The Director, FP&A is responsible for providing overall Finance support and leadership in direct support of the Access Management team while indirectly supporting the other business units. The role encompasses preparation and interpretation of financial and business results, developing P&L/Cash Flow Plans and Forecasts, and margin evaluation. Additionally, the Director will partner with all levels of business leadership to assure delivery of business unit targets and achievement of optimization and synergy targets. The Director will also be responsible for representing the Operations team at various forums and undertaking specific analysis on behalf of Finance leadership including evaluation of business strategy / effectiveness. Responsibilities:
Forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning Decision support on initiatives and investments Performance analysis and management reporting Identify and drive profitability and cash flow improvements The Main Responsibilities Deep understanding of Network Expense and Customer/Product profitability Link revenue forecasts with margin expectations Develop mid and long-range strategic plans. Ensure investment strategies support cost savings Incorporate external market factors into planning cycles Partner with Access Management Organization to manage budget and supporting activities Evaluate resource investments and provide recommendations Track business case results with closed loop to forecast and budget Assess corporate initiatives for impact (+/-) to network expense spend Produce KPIs with scorecards for each cost category. Perform analysis on all operating metrics and KPIs Results v budget with variance analysis and explanation. Evaluation of gap closure initiatives with tracking Support Business unit and product profitability. Business Unit and Product margin views Synergy and integration tracking. Drive process and organizational efficiency initiatives Partner with Revenue Assurance and Business Units on margin expansion initiatives Additional Responsibilities Partner with Carrier Relations on Vendor negotiations and settlements Assist IR team with margin analysis, synergy tracking and quarterly Q&A Support, and participate in, executive reviews Other duties as assigned What We Look For in a Candidate Required Bachelor's degree with 10-15
years of experience in Finance and Business management roles, preferably FP&A Strong presentation, interpersonal, and written skills Leadership experience in people management, program management and a strong track record of effectiveness in execution, time management, and influencing to deliver objectives. Strong execution orientation and ability to inspire action Ability to drive transformational improvements across multiple organizations Preferred MBA or Masters in Finance disciplines. Accounting qualification a plus.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
