About Lumen The Role The Service Assurance and Repair group delivers solutions directly to our business partners in the Network as well as the Business Channel Units to ensure services meet a pre-defined service quality and level for an optimal customer experience. The Director of Enterprise Repair ; Local leads the team and identifies faults in the network and resolve them in a timely manner to minimize service downtime. The Director also develops a Service Assurance Roadmap (OCEANS) while prioritizing to meet all deliverables. The Director proactively pinpoints, diagnoses and resolves service quality degradations or device malfunctions before customers are impacted. Service assurance encompasses the following Fault and Event Management, Performance Management, Probe Monitoring, Quality of Service Management, Network and Service Testing, Network Traffic Management, Customer Experience Management, Service Level Agreement (SLA) Monitoring, Trouble Ticket Management and Repair. The Main Responsibilities Meets business needs by managing the activities of developers consistently delivering quality solutions on-time, within budget, and scope. Work with internal customers to gather business processes and project requirements. Actively drives the development life-cycle from requirements analysis, lean estimates, design, code, documentation, testing, implementation, and support. Developing project plans, resource planning, scheduling and managing development timelines. Building and managing multi-disciplined software teams and overseeing the development processes using industry best practices. Responsible for design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring the software development team. Support change management process to manage software releases, application patching and changes to production configurations. Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure environments; excelling at pinpointing and resolving problems in early project stages to avoid costtime expenses. Oversight and management of department expenses and budget planning Establishes goals and objectives for the organization based on senior leadership's goals. Provide leadership and motivation to the team to raise productivity levels Experience leading geographically dispersed teams - both domestically and internationally Other duties as assigned What We Look For in a Candidate Required Possess strong people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. 12 years of specific experience in designated LOBFunction 5 years of leadership experience working with a direct andor matrix team. Experience in Telecom industry Ability to drive a culture of quality and personal accountability through development and delivery teams. They must have a commitment to quality through the ability to translate complex technical requirements into functional software using best practices. Expertise in vendor contract management and management of distributed development teams and resources. Expert in Agile methods including SCRUM. Experience in application architecture and making rational buy vs. build and interface decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work equally well in self-managed and team-based AgileScrum projects Preferred Master's Degree with 10 year's experience What to Expect Next
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
