Sr Lead Technical Project Manager at CenturyLink in Broomfield, CO
The Role Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, status and delivery of internally initiated improvements and product-driven initiatives. Position will proactively identify areas of risk related to scope, resource constraints, and process breakdowns. Will interface with internal teams to ensure project entrance and exit criteria are being met, to drive the prioritization of projects, and to ensure that resources are being utilized efficiently. The Main Responsibilities Manages portfolio of projects in conjunction with other project managers Manages individual projects from beginning to end, including all documentation and communication with stakeholders, inter-team coordination and/or multi-discipline or multi-business unit coordination Participate in Agile Release Train (ART) structure in conjunction with IT and other business Supports and represents the Field on new product rollouts and provides impact assessments for IT and business owners Works heavily to drive efficiencies in the Field that contribute to revenue and lower cost Drives adhoc projects and data analysis activities in support of broader Business needs Utilize appropriate project management tools, e.g., MS Project, Excel, etc. Organizes and drives manager and other leadership calls and communications Communicates regularly with executive leadership on project status What We Look For in a Candidate Required:
Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience. Typically with 5-7 years related experience and 1
year previous supervisory / leadership experience preferred. 8
years of related experience. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills Preferred:
Lean/Six Sigma Certified Kaizen Certified PMP Certification or equivalent Knowledge and development of Microsoft Sharepoint Familiar with the XLR8 Agile methodology. Familiar with the JIRA and Confluence tools for recording capabilities, features and user stories What to Expect Next Requisition #:
